When Jessica tells you she enjoys detail-oriented work and organizing things, she means it. It is just one of those things that has always put a charge in her step each morning, and she is quick to embrace that skill.

Thankfully, Jessica’s knack for details, quality control, and organizational efficiency are a few of the big reasons why we hired her as our office clerk. Her primary responsibilities include organizing documents, typing, filing, and completing various forms. She is extremely versatile and teachable, and her willingness to take on any assignment is appreciated. She is also a caring teammate and loves talking to our clients whenever she gets the chance.

A native of Texarkana, Jessica moved to Denton in 2010. She and her husband Michael met and eventually got married in 2018. Michael is an engineer for the city of Denton. Meanwhile, Jessica worked at several local businesses while attending nearby TWU. While looking for a more long-term career, she found an opportunity at Leigh Hilton.

“I’ve worked for many small businesses, and this is by far the best place to be,” Jessica said. “The people here are considerate. It struck me immediately how nice everyone is. This is an opportunity to hopefully build a long career.”

When she’s not working, Jessica loves painting, playing video games, and hosting role-playing events on the weekends with friends. She and Michael are also big animal lovers. Not only do they have an adorable cat to love on at home, but they also look out for neighborhood pets. In fact, one of the first things Jessica does each day during the summe when she gets home from work is to take a giant ice cube out of the freezer and put it in the backyard for any animal that happens to come by on a hot North Texas days.
