Summer Hayes believes every bright legal career starts with a positive first step, and by the looks of it, she is already headed in the right direction. Summer joined our team as a client support specialist in 2025 and has since demonstrated a level of care, competence, and consistency that elevates the experience for both clients and colleagues.

Her role places her at the heart of our daily operations, where she assists with printing and proofreading documents, gathering essential information for client files, and performing additional clerical work to ensure each file moves smoothly from one stage to the next.

Summer’s keen eye for detail and ability to learn quickly reflect her long-term goal of becoming an attorney. She is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in government with a minor in political science. She is currently studying for the LSAT and brings valuable experience from her prior internships, including time spent in the offices of Senator Ted Cruz in Washington, D.C., and Dallas. She also previously interned for the City of Providence Village in 2021.

“I have an interest in corporate and business law, so the goal is to one day go to law school,” Summer said. “Being at Leigh Hilton PLLC is a wonderful opportunity. Everyone here is so nice, and I’m eager to get my career started.”

Summer was born and raised in Denton County, and she says her claim to fame is being one of seven siblings. Her still-growing family includes four amazing sisters and two brothers, more than half of whom joined the Hayes family through adoption. When she’s not working or hanging out with her family, she enjoys reading and baking. Her chocolate chip cookies are to die for, but if you ask her what her secret skill is, she’ll be quick to say she makes the best chili you’ve ever tasted.
