I love looking at Irises this time of year.  They come in such a wide variety of colors.  We have one in our yard that looks black, although I think it is actually a dark purple.  Spring is a wonderful time of year that brings a wide variety of flowers and of course, baseball.

Brad and Matthew are both playing baseball this spring, when it doesn’t rain.  They love baseball when they win.  I am sure there is a life lesson in there somewhere.  I took them to the batting cages the other day, but I have absolutely no sports skills.  When they missed the balls, I didn’t know what to tell them to do different.  I told Matthew that the balls kept going right under the bat, but he kept on swinging the same place.  When we got home he told James that the machine was broken and pitching the balls too low.  I knew we weren’t communicating, but didn’t realize that he didn’t get the message that I meant to swing lower.  I am looking into the Ryan High baseball camp this summer for them.

Access to medical information is important in all seasons.  This month’s article is on the vial of life program.  This is a very important addition to the document emergency card that I provide to my clients.
