I had the opportunity to during our exciting 7-day cruise over Spring Break, but I decided not to. James and the boys kissed it. We got to swim with the stingrays in Grand Cayman. It was both exciting and a little scary. Prior to arriving, I had been told that their barbs had been removed, but found out right before we got in the water that they could still hurt you. The stingrays would sneak up on you, and it was difficult not to step on them.

The ship stopped in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. In Cozumel, we went on a jeep tour and saw salt water crocodiles, snorkeled and saw a small Mayan building designed as an early warning system. The building was designed with Conch Shells. If the winds got strong enough, it would cause the shells to sound and warn the village miles away. In Grand Cayman, we swam with the stingrays and snorkeled over a beautiful coral reef. In Jamaica, we toured a cave that had lots of bats flying in it and climbed up the Dunn’s River waterfall.
